Plitvice Lakes National Park
This National park was founded in 1949 and is undoubtedly a crown jewel of Croatia's natural heritage. Images from Plitvice lakes are also famous for their occurance in classical movie The Treasure of Silver Lake with Pierre Brice as Winnetou and Lex Barker as Old Shatterhand.
